CHILCOTE Iris Chilcote, age 83, of Beavercreek, formerly of Worthington, OH and Ft. Myers, FL, passed away Monday April 16, 2012. She was born May 30, 1928 in Fort Recovery, OH, the daughter of the late William and Lela (Clark) Kolp. Iris was a former member of Grace Brethren Church and McGregor Baptist Church; and was a current member of First Baptist Church of Fairborn. She served as past president of the Sweet Adelines Columbus Chapter and was a member of the Worthington Women's Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Ted Chilcote and a brother Clark Kolp. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack; daughter, Betsy Paquin and husband, Joseph of Evanston, IL; granddaughter, Kelly Paquin; niece, Jane Clifton and family; and nephew, Bill Kolp. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Fairborn, 1167 Highview Drive, Fairborn. Rev. Ron Plemons officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, 5561 Milton Ave., Worthington, OH.
