Carter Lois Carter (nee Zody), age 94, of Worthington, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at her home. Lois was born on August 30, 1921 in Butler, Ohio to the late Leland and Annis (Cates) Zody. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Carter, her son Richard F. Carter, and her brothers Richard Zody and Rodney Zody. Loyis graduated from Perrysville High School. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was devoted to her church actively participated in Circle, Bible Study, Methodist Women's Club, The Food Pantry, and many other volunteer groups. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Carter-North (Jack); son, David Carter; grandchildren, Richard Frank Carter Jr. (Liz), John Carter, Michael Siegfried (Megan), Patrick Carter-North, Chelsea Jipping (Michael), and Jake Carter; and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Monday from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
