Burt, Sr. Charles S. Burt, Sr., age 81, of Worthington died Friday morning at Riverside Hospital. He was born October 23, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio. Vet. U.S. Marines, Korean War. Mr. Burt was a member of the Worthington Moose, and the American Legion Post #0239. Charles retired from the City of Columbus Water Division after 32 years of service. Surviving are his children, Ruth (Rex) Molihan, Charles S. Burt, Jr., Gregory (Laurie) Schlender, Barbara E. Garrett, and Paula (Fred) Stumbo; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Burt. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2015 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home conducted by Dr. Joel Baer. Burial will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery at a later date.
