BESANCENEY Virginia M. Besanceney, age 89, Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She loved her family, friends, her yard and her cat. A lifelong Columbus resident, she was an avid Buckeye fan. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry and daughter Ann, and is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Jerry) Winfrey; sons, Tom (Molly) and John; five grandchildren; seven great-grand-children; and many dear friends. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 4476 N. High St. (two blocks north of Henderson Rd.), 268-8811. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 20 E. Dominion Blvd. Fr. Kevin Kavanagh, Celebrant. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
