Preceded in death by brother Paul David Benton. Survived by wife Virginia Geraldine Benton; Mickey Benton, mother of daughters Beth Benton & Leanne Sanderson; grandson Joshua Sanderson; cousins George Faull, Ind., Linda & Donna Faull of Ill.; Sue Whistit; step-daughters Janice Carter of Lake Worth, Fla.; Pam (Ivan) Mansell of Bethel, Oh., step-grandchildren Rachel, Rebecca, & Matthew. Friends may call at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, BEECHWOLD-CLINTONVILLE CHAPEL, 4341 N. High Street, Tuesday 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Norton Church of Christ, 441 S. Yearling Rd. at 1 p.m. Wednesday with 2 hours visitation prior to service. Bro. Stephen Nash officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
