BEATY Lowell E. Beaty, age 76, of Newark, and formerly a long time resident of Worthington, died Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at Riverside Hospital. Retired after 26 years as Vice President of Associates Financial Services, also retired in 1991 from CitiCorp. Attended the University of Tennessee, veteran of WW II, U.S. Marine Corp. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church. Survived by wife, Elizabeth Twomey Beaty; daughters, Cynthia (Daniel) Penovich and Rebecca (Douglas) Wagner; grandchildren, Caitlin, Andrew, Samuel Wagner and Laura and Mark Penovich. Friends may call Saturday 6-8 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (* mile south of I 270). Memorial service Sunday 2 p.m., February 10, 2002 at Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High St., Worthington, family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at church. Rev. Alan Sippel officiating. Private interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
