Bardach Mary M. Bardach, age 75, was introduced into the world on January 8, 1941 and passed into eternity on October 26, 2016 after a brief illness. After graduating from Oshkosh High School, she worked for AT&T, before enrolling in the Radiologic Technologists Program at The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, she worked into her early 70s for Mount Carmel Hospital as an X-Ray technician and adjunct professor. Mary was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. She developed a creative eye for photography and even turned some of her photographs into cross-stitches. She also enjoyed working in her herb and flower gardens. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Bardach and parents John Diakoff and Gertrude Weller Diakoff. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Kathleen Diakoff; niece, Elizabeth Essig; nephew, David Diakoff; great-nieces and great-nephews, Phoebe Essig, Penelope Essig, Sophia Diakoff, Lucy Diakoff, Charlie Essig and Luke Essig; cousins, Ellen Brehm and Georgina Diakoff. Her family and friends will miss her deeply. Family will receive friends 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 E. Stanton Avenue, Columbus, OH, where funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Pastor June Wilkins, officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington, OH.
