Mary Hiland Barber, age 87, of Worthington, Wednesday, February 19, 1997 at home Member St. John's Episcopal Church and Worthington Womens club. Survived by husband of 64 years, Fred O. Barber; daughters, Frederica (Donald) Miller of Vestal N.Y., Mary McKechnie of Dayton; grandchildren, Donald (Thersa) Miller Jr. of Union City, N.J., Suzanne Miller and fiance, Christopher LeMenestrell of Washington, D.C., Lisa (Kevin) Schurek of Huntington Beach, Calif., Mark McKechnie ofVancouver, Wash. and Eric McKechnie of Dayton; great-grandchildren, Paul, Stephanie and Anthony Miller, all of Union City, N.J.; brother, Howard (Rosemary) Hiland of Cincinnati; sister, Betty (Ronald) Bobo of Canal Winchester; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 1997 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 700 High St., Worthington, with the Rev. Art Hadley officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
