We've made our first major redesign in a dozen years!
If you're a regular visitor to Worthington Memory, the first thing you will notice is our fresh, new look.
Once you dig a little deeper, you'll see the changes are more than just cosmetic. Sophisticated new tools allow us to intermingle newspaper items from Worthington's current and historical newspapers, burial records from Worthington's three cemeteries as well as digitized objects. By bringing all these records together, we are able to show you exciting new connections within our community!
Use our new website to remember, explore and engage with life in Worthington:
- Meet prominent figures, community leaders and everyday folks.
- Revisit recent memories and the distant past.
- Stroll back in time down neighborhood streets.
Despite all the improvements we’re debuting now, more are on the way in the coming months (and years) as we continue to process and post on the site the tens of thousands of names, organizations and keywords still awaiting our attention. We also plan to enhance the site with more powerful search options.
Our collection will also continue to grow as we add new content. We invite you to be a part of it by sharing your own local history memorabilia with us!
Check back often to connect with your hometown history.
